Get the best results from your workout
It is strongly advised that anyone wanting to participate in exercise should do a Warm Up before every session and a Cool Down after each session to help prevent injury, increase comfort after the workout and generally get the most out of your work out sessions. 

The Warm Up

A warm up usually takes the form of some gentle exercise that gradually increases in intensity. When you begin an exercise session your body need to make a number of adjustments. The benefits of warming up include:
  • Increased heart rate and breathing in preparation for your workout.
  • Less stiffness after your workout.
  • Lower viscous resistance within warmed muscles.
  • Breaks down the chemical complex of oxygen, this enables it to separate from the blood and increases oxygen delivery to the muscle, which is crucial during exercise.

Guests
Members are welcome to bring guests to the Club however, as a members' Club we give priority to existing members and limit the times when guests may be introduced.
A member may bring one guest per membership anytime ,other than between 5pm and 8pm during weekdays. Members wishing to bring additional guests, or any outside the stated times are recommended to telephone reception in advance to avoid the inconvenience of being unable to be admitted.
There is a fee of £10 per guest per visit but no limit to the number of times a guest may attend the Club.
 
Free workshops
Free workshops, Book yourself in to any of our 15 weekly workshops. These are small group class’s, highly motivational, hard working but fun and enjoyable. Challenge yourself against the rest, “to be the best you can.”
